Selling conditions

The Haworthia genus has about 70 different species, all characterized by fleshy leaves that allow them to conserve water for long periods of drought.
Because of this, they don't need a lot of water and generally require little care and maintenance.
They are plants that grow quite slowly and tend not to reach very large sizes, so you won't need to repot them very frequently.

Light
They prefer a bright location.
Avoid direct sunrays; otherwise, their leaves may turn reddish.

Temperatures
Being native to countries such as South Africa and Mexico, they prefer warm climates.
However, they manage to adapt to lower temperatures, resisting even frost, albeit for very short periods. Therefore, in winter they should be brought indoors.

Watering
They do not need much water: it is sufficient to wet the soil every 7-10 days during the hottest periods, being careful not to let the water stagnate.
In winter, one or two waterings per month will be enough.

Flowering
They bloom in summer, forming a long central stem from which small white flowers bloom.

“Succulent” facts
In summer, Haworthia stop growing above the ground to use their energy to develop and strengthen their roots.
