A new recycled coating for KalaMitica magnetic boards

Sgaravatti Trend and ST Powder Coatings: a new partnership towards greater environmental sustainability.

After a year of collaboration and technical tests, a new recycled powder coating has been developed, which will be produced exclusively for KalaMitica magnetic boards.

The new paint will be used for all the anthracite boards and provides the same characteristics as the one previously used, both aesthetically and functionally.

It will be virtually impossible to tell the difference between the “new” and “old” boards!

What’s more, on the new chalkboards too it will be possible to write with chalk or Securit liquid chalk markers and to erase in a quick and easy way.

So, what's new?

The new paint is made from a very high percentage of recycled raw materials.

Normally, these would be production wastes destined for landfill, to be disposed of as special waste through expensive and complex disposal processes.

And now these materials are given a 'second chance': in fact, the percentage of recycled virgin raw materials can be as high as 80%!

As well as representing a considerable advantage given the current shortage of raw materials, this is also and above all an important achievement towards greater environmental sustainability.

Reusing raw materials means reducing production and industrial waste, as well as emissions of air pollutants from transport.

In short, you could say that now KalaMitica chalkboards are really eco-friendly!
